SURVIVOR CHALLENGE OR SURVIVOR EXTREME CHALLENGE

Participate in the Survivor Challenge or Survivor Extreme Challenge this March & April. Eight weeks of gradually building up your time getting fit and healthy by accumulating a specified amount of points for that week by completing fitness routines. Swim, bike, run, walk, take a class, lift weights; play basketball, volleyball, wallyball, or racquetball; just start (or continue!) moving! If you miss the goal for the week you can donate to our Annual Campaign scholarship fund to stay active in the challenge. If you survive, you will have built a stable routine and get entered to win a free month of membership. Registration is $20 and you get a t-shirt for completion. Members ages 13-100+. Other prizes for weekly high point scorers. JOIN THE CHALLENGE!

Challenge – for those that would like a gradual approach to getting in the habit of working out

Extreme – for those that would an additional challenge, weekly point total doubled

Tracking Points:
  • 15 min = 0.5 points, 30 min = 1.0 points
  • Track points with the paper log (located by the merchandise display in the lobby)
  • 4 point (2 hr.) limit per day
  • Points can not be carried over, each week is a new week (Sunday-Saturday)
Exercise:
  • ANY exercise is counted – the goal is to get MOVING!!!
  • Workouts can take place anywhere (Spring Break?)
Weekly Goal and Incentives:
  • Must meet weekly goal to receive entry for prizes
  • No one is removed from the program if weekly goal is not met
  • $25 donation to our Annual Campaign Scholarship Fund if you do not make your weekly goal to keep you in the race!
  • Complete either challenge to be entered in a drawing for one free month of membership
  • T-shirt for all participants completing at least 10 points
